Lorem Ipsum is a typeface used in typography and design. Lorem Ipsum has been a standard typeface since the 16th century, when an unknown printer took a typeface and created a selection of typeface samples on it.

The “fish” has not only survived five centuries, but has also survived in electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularized in the 1960s with the release of Letraset type samples containing Lorem Ipsum, and more recently with desktop publishing programs such as Aldus Pagemaker, which used various versions of Lorem Ipsum.
